This Position reports to:

Project Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and modify the standard designs of equipment, systems, or installations, including standard specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction, using standard design concepts. Each day, you will design engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to contract specifications. You will also showcase your expertise by contributing to design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Robotics business in Vietnam. Main stakeholders are our customer and project management team.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Execute production plans to fulfill manufacturing targets while maintaining product quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions during production processes conduct data analysis and generate summary reports for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in process optimization initiatives through technical documentation development and quality system enhancements to improve production efficiency.
  • Quality Control - Incoming Inspection: Verify raw materials/machined components against design specifications using precision measurement tools.
  • Quality Control - In-Process: Guide production line installation per technical requirements, perform real-time compliance checks, and manage inspection documentation (test reports/records archival).
  • Quality Control - Final Inspection: Document FQC results pre-shipment, flag non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, oversee rework validation, and compile quality summaries.
  • Conduct small-batch mechanical assembly and develop process tooling solutions.
  • Provide on-site customer support for troubleshooting, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Select and evaluate mechanical production consumables collaborate on configuration optimization with cross-functional teams.
  • Operate, maintain, and manage workshop equipment following preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Contribute to production facility layout planning and workflow optimization

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering/Electromechanical disciplines (automation equipment experience preferred).
  • 3+ years mechanical assembly experience with foundational knowledge in machining processes, 2D/3D drawing interpretation (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), GD&T principles, and metrology skills (calipers/CMM).
  • Proficient in mechanical/pneumatic component installation and basic electrical systems (sensor technologies).
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Adaptive learner capable of managing project-based overtime requirements.
  • Compliance-focused with 6S (5S+Safety) standards and company policies.
  • Skilled in Office applications and SolidWorks CAD software English proficiency preferred for international projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically/internationally for on-site production support
