Production Manager

Role Description:

Develop and coordinate production plans to optimize plant capacity.

Monitor productivity, yield loss, and machine downtime, and ensure effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Ensure production plans are aligned with demand forecasts and supply chain requirements.

Standardize KPIs and performance tracking systems across both plants.

Benchmark and implement best practices between the two production sites.

Ensure compliance with MFM, GMP, and all operational standards.

Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders, Supervisors, and production staff.

Foster a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement.

Manage workforce planning, training, and flexible resource allocation across both plants.

Ensure strict adherence to quality, occupational safety, and food hygiene standards.

Promote risk-prevention initiatives and build a Zero Accident culture.

Manage direct costs, including labor, materials, energy, and maintenance.

Lead cost-saving projects and provide monthly performance reports.

Propose automation and digitalization solutions to enhance productivity.

Lead Lean/Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.

Support the implementation of digital transformation projects (MES, data dashboards, predictive maintenance).

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Food Technology.

Skills: Strong leadership, fast decision-making ability, and effective communication skills.

Expertise: Preference for candidates with experience managing multiple plants or multiple production lines; solid knowledge of production planning, process control, and Lean/TPM principles. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate KPIs into actionable plans.

Language: English proficiency.

Computer Skills: Proficient in office software applications.

Experience: Minimum 710 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a production management role.
