Production Manager (Plant Tissue Culture)

Position Summary:

Growlab VN is seeking a high-caliber Production Manager with a deep specialization in Tissue Culture (TC) to spearhead the scaling of our laboratory and production facilities. This role is pivotal for an experienced leader ready to transition a sophisticated TC operation from current levels to a high-output, industrial scale. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing technical teams and a willingness to potentially relocate to the Philippines to lead our regional expansion.

Salary range: Upon negotiation

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale-Up Leadership: Design and implement protocols to transition tissue culture production from small-batch laboratory settings to large-scale commercial output.
• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of TC specialists, ensuring high productivity, rigorous quality control, and continuous professional development.
• Process Optimization: Refine media formulations and micropropagation techniques to improve multiplication rates and reduce contamination.
• Operational Oversight: Manage laboratory resources, budgeting, and supply chains to ensure uninterrupted production cycles.
• Strategic Expansion: Act as the technical lead for the potential establishment and management of our production facility in the Philippines.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in plant tissue culture.

Leadership: Proven track record managing a team of technical specialists/scientists.

Language:Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Expertise: Advanced knowledge of micropropagation; Coconut TC experience is highly preferred.

Mobility: Fully open to relocating to the Philippines to spearhead international operations.
