Production Manager (Engineering & Process Optimization)
We are looking for a Production Manager who combines high-level strategic planning with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Drive the end-to-end production process, ensuring all documentation, methods, and outputs meet world-class standards.
- Process & Layout Optimization: Design and implement sophisticated machine layouts and method improvements to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
- Capital Expenditure (CAPEX): Lead equipment acquisition projects, from identifying needs to developing robust equipment justifications and appropriation requests.
- Data-Driven Excellence: Implement and manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems to ensure precision and quality.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on analytical leadership to resolve complex production bottlenecks and equipment failures.
- Strategic Goal Setting: Define KPIs, execute operational plans, and evaluate accomplishments to meet demanding production targets.
What We Are Looking For
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Material Science Engineering (or a closely related field).
- Proven Track Record: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, including at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in process improvement, equipment management, and troubleshooting.
- The Human Element: A leader who knows how to motivate a diverse workforce, provide meaningful feedback, and uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
- The Direct Approach: You are someone who prefers being on the floor, engaging directly with problems and production demands rather than just managing from a desk.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders.
