  • Oversee the overall operations of the Production, Engineering/Maintenance, and Warehouse departments, ensuring targets for production output, product quality, delivery schedule, cost efficiency, workplace safety, and operational performance are achieved.
  • Develop production plans and effectively allocate manpower, machinery, equipment, raw materials, and other production resources.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems, including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and SSOP.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance activities, promptly resolve technical issues, and ensure stable machine operation.
  • Supervise warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
  • Monitor and improve productivity, material loss, defect rates, machine downtime, and manufacturing costs while implementing 5S, Kaizen/Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Establish and implement departmental KPIs, monitor performance, and evaluate results.
  • Lead, train, and develop Shift Leaders, Supervisors, and production operators while building a strong talent pipeline.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety and environmental regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales, HR & Administration, and Accounting departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Having 5 years of experience as a Production Manager or equivalent position in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, 5S, and Kaizen/Lean.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills, with the ability to handle production, workforce, and equipment-related issues effectively.
  • Good command of English or Japanese.
