Oversee the overall operations of the Production, Engineering/Maintenance, and Warehouse departments, ensuring targets for production output, product quality, delivery schedule, cost efficiency, workplace safety, and operational performance are achieved.
Develop production plans and effectively allocate manpower, machinery, equipment, raw materials, and other production resources.
Ensure compliance with food safety and quality management systems, including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, and SSOP.
Manage equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance activities, promptly resolve technical issues, and ensure stable machine operation.
Supervise warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
Monitor and improve productivity, material loss, defect rates, machine downtime, and manufacturing costs while implementing 5S, Kaizen/Lean, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and implement departmental KPIs, monitor performance, and evaluate results.
Lead, train, and develop Shift Leaders, Supervisors, and production operators while building a strong talent pipeline.
Ensure compliance with occupational health & safety and environmental regulations, proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Collaborate closely with Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales, HR & Administration, and Accounting departments to ensure smooth and efficient production operations.
Requirement
Bachelor's degree or above.
Having 5 years of experience as a Production Manager or equivalent position in a food manufacturing environment.
Experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, including ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, SSOP, 5S, and Kaizen/Lean.
Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills, with the ability to handle production, workforce, and equipment-related issues effectively.
