Firmly implement the Group's strategic direction and management systems, acting as the No.1 leader of the factory to ensure the Vietnam plant's operations are fully aligned with Group requirements.
Lead the factory from 0 to 1 during the setup and transition phase, including organizational structure setup, key hiring, job skills training, and standardization of production processes.
Take full responsibility for daily production operations, coordinating all aspects of Man, Machine, Material, Method, Environment (4M1E). Formulate and execute production plans to ensure on-time order delivery.
Establish and continuously improve the quality control system to ensure shipment quality meets Group and customer standards. Control production costs and drive cost reduction & efficiency improvement.
Build and manage the outsourced supply chain system, coordinating allocation, progress tracking, quality control, and delivery management of outsourced orders. Ensure outsourced product quality matches in-house standards. Control outsourced processing costs and drive continuous cost & efficiency improvements among suppliers.
Oversee team building, including recruitment, performance appraisal, employee training, and labor relations management, to build a stable and high-performing local team.
Maintain good relationships with local Vietnamese government, unions, and partners. Properly handle labor affairs and prevent employment risks.
Regularly report factory operational data and business analysis to the Group, and cooperate with headquarters on audits, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination.
III. Qualifications
5+ years of management experience as a garment factory manager or production director preference for mid-to-high-end fashion.
Proven 0-to-1 garment factory setup and commissioning experience, including organization building, hiring, equipment installation, and production process standardization.
Proficient in full-process garment production management, with skills in production planning, progress control, and delivery management.
Experience in setting up quality systems and cost control awareness, with demonstrated results in cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Experience managing outsourced garment supply chains, familiar with vendor development, evaluation, quality control, and cost negotiation. Preference for candidates with existing supplier resources in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.
Excellent team leadership and cross-cultural communication skills, able to build trust and drive collaboration with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Prior experience managing a factory in Vietnam, familiar with local culture, labor laws, and union mechanisms.
English as a working language; Chinese and Vietnamese skills are a plus. Willing to work long-term in Vietnam.
