The position is based in Ho Chi Minh City. You will work at URGO Group's, a French Pharmaceutical Laboratory which opened its office near 30 years ago in Vietnam. The Group has 3 separate business units, Consumer Healthcare, Medical Care (MC), and Medical Technology. You will join the affiliate team in Vietnam and focus on Consumer Healthcare business. We provide health solutions to consumers, patients, and healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities:
The Product Training Scientific Activation Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive scientific, commercial, and customer excellence training programs as cascaded by region or global. The role ensures consistent brand messaging, strong scientific positioning, and effective sales execution, fully aligned with global brand strategy and local market priorities, while directly contributing to business performance and brand equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Strategy & Program Management
- Propose and implement the annual regional product training strategy
- Build structured training programs for distributor field force, pharmacists & healthcare professionals, retail staff & beauty advisors, internal sales, marketing and commercial teams
- Build training roadmaps for new product launches, promotional & seasonal campaigns, product selling techniques
- Act as a key partner to sales teams, ensuring training initiatives directly support commercial objectives and measurable business impact
- Conduct field visits regularly to ensure effective implementation of support tools and understand field challenges
- Training Content Development & Delivery
- Develop, adapt and standardize training materials for scientific, commercial and digital audiences
- Create engaging learning experiences (e-learning modules, videos, toolkits, quizzes & assessments)
- Deliver training through face-to-face & virtual sessions, webinars, workshops and hands-on demonstrations, and train-the-trainer programs
- Define and track training effectiveness KPIs (knowledge acquisition, engagement field application)
- Identify product selling techniques gaps and implement continuous improvement coaching plans to ensure sustained performance in the field
- Ensure all content is fully aligned with global brand guidelines, scientific standards & regulatory requirements
- Scientific & Product Expertise
- Develop expertise URGO's products and pathologies covered (OTC, dermatology, ENT products)
- Lead and participate in scientific meetings, conferences, roundtables with healthcare professionals
- Review, validate and continuously update scientific and technical product materials
Job requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training roles within pharma, dermo-cosmetics, beauty, or healthcare.
- Education, training or related field certification is an advantage.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong scientific knowledge with ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proven experience in training design, facilitation, and capability development.
- Solid understanding of sales techniques and customer service excellence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (online and offline).
- Capacity to create connection and coordination with field force
Soft Skills
- Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative.
- Able to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
