As a Product Owner, this role supports the Credit Cards Line of Business to deliver priority changes across the Credit Card product suite, ensuring products meet customer expectations, app experience and revenue objectives. Based on relevant experience, the role will lead one of the following specializations – core credit card product (core product and customer experience), value added services (tokenization, rewards, instalments) and app experience (end to end user journey on Circle app).
Key Responsibilities
- You'll own commercial development for product changes, including business model creation, stakeholder engagement, and securing founder buy-in
- Responsible for managing and optimizing revenue-related processes and systems. This may include tasks such as analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing new processes, and working with other teams to ensure that revenue goals are met.
- Protect & monitor performance core drivers and business plans, by working closely with relevant stakeholders and strategic partners to drive business initiative and gain revenue
- Explore opportunities and optimizing end-to-end credit card customer life cycle including rewards and app experience
- Keeping card value proposition (CVP) design fresh, relevant to market and in line with customer and business strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional leads (risk, marketing, operations, technology, legal and compliance, etc) to drive strategic alignment of all common initiatives and priorities
- Develop and drive campaigns to deliver target portfolio outcomes across acquisiton, activation, spends and ENR
- Conduct regular review on market and competitor benchmark to identify credit cards and payment business trend and opportunities to keep the product proposition is updated and relevant to the target segments
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience in credit card product management in a bank or high-growth Fintech.
- Demonstrated track record delivering complex initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Subject matter expertise in the Vietnamese payments ecosystem, including a strong understanding of interchange structures, key growth drivers and regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical understanding of card issuing infrastructure.
- Proven ability to partner with both business and delivery stakeholders, acting as a bridge between them
- Strong understanding of key drivers of a credit card business model – both on revenue and cost side
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Fully bilingual in Vietnamese and English.
