About The Role
As a Product Owner, this role supports the Credit Cards Line of Business to deliver and manage Value Added Services - the ecosystem of features that drive usage, delight, and top-of-wallet status. Your job is to make the Circle card the coolest card in Vietnam. Such value added services include buy now pay later integration, tokenization (Apple Pay, Tap to Pay), wearable technology, rewards & loyalty among others.
Key Responsibilities
- You'll own commercial development for value added services, including business model creation, stakeholder engagement, and securing founder buy-in
- You will assess market conditions, competitors, and internal capabilities, identify risks, resolve product decisions, and act as a trusted SME on all things VAS.
- Spearhead the integration of Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. You will own the relationship with the schemes and CMS to ensure seamless tokenization and Add to Wallet flows.
- Own the instalment (BNPL) product.
- Lead the product development and distribution strategy for the Circle PayWear and future physical innovations like metal or LED cards.
- Develop and manage Circle Rewards - an AI-tailored rewards system that offers instant rewards, merchant discounts, and lifestyle perks that users actually value.
- Collaborate with the Partnership team to integrate Circle's API into merchant platforms to drive exclusive Circle-only experiences.
- Constantly A/B test new VAS features—from airport lounge access to insurance cross-sells—to see what truly drives user engagement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in credit card products in a bank or high-growth Fintech.
- Demonstrated track record delivering complex initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record of launching and managing features like instalment plans, loyalty programs, or wallet integrations.
- Creative mindset with a deep understanding of Gen Z / Millennial lifestyle trends in Vietnam (entertainment, fashion, dining, travel).
- Strong stakeholder management skills; you can negotiate technical and commercial requirements with external partners and internal tech teams.
- Ability to use data to justify the Why behind a new feature, calculating expected uplift in spend vs. cost of rewards.
- Strong capability in preparing executive‑level reports, presentations, and strategic papers for approval.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders. Fully bilingual in Vietnamese and English.
- Familiarity with AI tools for productivity (e.g., ChatGPT for strategy drafting, advanced data visualization tools) and a vision for how AI can optimize profitability.
