As a Product Owner, you'll play a critical role in turning product vision into execution — translating strategy from the Product Manager into actionable user stories, ensuring clarity across teams, and delivering meaningful outcomes for users and the business.
You'll manage features and sub-products within either the Job Seeker or Recruiter vertical, working across mobile, web, and admin platforms to deliver high-quality, user-centric experiences.
What you'll be responsible for
1. Product Delivery & Execution
- Own the delivery of assigned product areas or features under your vertical's roadmap.
- Translate product goals into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize and manage the backlog to balance business impact, user value, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with designers and engineers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Validate outcomes through data, testing, and user feedback.
2. Agile Process Management
- Lead day-to-day execution within Agile sprints — including planning, grooming, and reviews.
- Ensure development progress aligns with sprint goals and roadmap timelines.
- Communicate updates, blockers, and trade-offs to stakeholders promptly.
- Maintain strong documentation and ensure visibility on status, scope, and quality.
3. User-Centric Problem Solving
- Deeply understand the needs of your target users — job seekers or recruiters — and translate insights into actionable solutions.
- Partner with research and analytics teams to validate problems and measure impact.
- Continuously seek user feedback and data signals to guide iteration and improvement.
- Balance empathy for users with a strong grasp of business metrics and outcomes.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, QA, Data, and Operations teams to ensure end-to-end delivery quality.
- Support Go-to-Market plans and align with Marketing and Customer Support during launches.
- Coordinate with both vertical teams when features or data dependencies overlap.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Monitor feature performance post-launch and propose enhancements.
- Contribute to improving internal product processes, sprint efficiency, and release readiness.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and tracking for each feature and release cycle .
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Associate Product Manager.
- Proven track record delivering digital products (mobile or web) in Agile environments.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with interpreting data to make decisions.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across diverse teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and product analytics platforms.
- A mobile-first mindset and experience in marketplace, SaaS, or job platform products are strong pluses.
