Role Description

This is a full-time Product Owner (Data-driven) role based on-site in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product requirements, analyze user behavior through data analytics, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data-Informed Roadmap: Define and maintain the product roadmap by analyzing user behavior, market trends, and business KPIs.
  • Conversion & Retention Optimization: Analyze the user journey from registration to subscription. Identify friction points and implement data-backed solutions to reduce churn.
  • Personalization & Discovery: Partner with the Data Science team to enhance the Recommendation Engine, ensuring highly relevant content discovery for every user.
  • Backlog Management: Prioritize features based on ROI, technical feasibility, and impact on North Star metrics (e.g., Watch Time, Retention Rate).
  • Continuous Experimentation: Lead A/B testing initiatives for UI/UX enhancements, pricing models, and new features to ensure every deployment is backed by evidence.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex data insights into actionable product requirements for engineers and clear progress reports for executives.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, preferably in OTT, E-commerce, Fintech, or high-growth SaaS.
  • Strong proficiency in Product Management, with experience in defining product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced Analytical and Business Analysis skills to interpret data, assess performance, and identify trends. Proficiency in tools like MixPanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, or Tableau.
  • Proven Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Understanding of Software Development processes and tools to work closely with development teams on feature implementation. Strong experience in Scrum/Kanban and managing backlogs in Jira/Confluence.
  • Experience with subscription platforms or entertainment technologies and understanding of OTT industry metrics (Churn, ARPU, LTV, CAC, Bitrate/QoS) is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.
