Job Description

About the Role

Masan Group is building a Group-wide Staff Performance product for our frontline workforce — staff working at stores, warehouses, factories, farms, and F&B outlets across multiple sub-entities of the Group. The goal is to bring real-time productivity visibility to this workforce at scale, and to use that data to drive better workforce decisions.

The Product Owner will own this product end-to-end: discovery, roadmap, requirements, build vs. buy, pilot, scale, and adoption. The role works alongside a Senior Manager Product and partners closely with Group Total Rewards, BU HR, and BU Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Understand how frontline work is done today — on the ground, with the people doing the work — before defining the product.
  • Translate operational KPIs into a digital tracking system that supervisors and business leaders actually use.
  • Build and sequence the product roadmap across multiple sub-entities.
  • Define requirements: dashboards, mobile-first interfaces, KPI logic, workflows.
  • Manage senior stakeholders across business and functional teams.
  • Drive adoption on the ground — change management is part of the product.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in product ownership or product management.
  • Experience building products for frontline / operational workforces — retail, warehouse, manufacturing, field sales, logistics, or similar.
  • Track record digitizing operational processes with real user adoption.
  • Experience with products where output data is used for performance or workforce decisions.
  • Strong stakeholder management — proven ability to align senior leaders on one roadmap.
  • Strong grasp of operational KPIs.
  • Comfortable working on-site, in Vietnamese, with operational teams.
  • Solid product fundamentals: discovery, user stories, prioritization, sprint work with engineering.
  • Exposure to workforce management, performance, or compensation systems.
  • Background in retail, FMCG, manufacturing, F&B, logistics, or agriculture.
  • Conversational English.

Preferred Skills

  • Proactive and outcome-oriented; able to manage multiple parallel workstreams with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable operating under program pressure and tight cutover windows.
  • Open-minded, collaborative, and willing to challenge solution decisions.

Why this role

  • Hands-on and pragmatic — you build the plan, track the details, and unblock the team yourself rather than only delegating.
  • Energetic and collaborative — you thrive in a fast-paced PMO environment alongside peers who move quickly.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity across multiple subsidiaries with different cultures and priorities.
  • Bias for action and ownership — you drive outcomes, not status reports.
