Job Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Product Manager to manage and develop insurance products throughout their lifecycle. This role combines product analysis, market research, data-driven decision-making, and partner coordination to ensure competitive, customer-centric insurance offerings.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management & Strategy
- Manage insurance products across the full product lifecycle: research, evaluation, launch, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Analyze product performance metrics, KPI / OKR, and business results to support product decisions.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the insurance / financial services market.
Insurance Product Development
- Research, compare, and evaluate insurance products (coverage, benefits, terms & conditions, exclusions).
- Assess product feasibility and customer value from a user-centric perspective.
- Propose product improvements, benefit enhancements, pricing or positioning adjustments.
- Define product highlights and collaborate on product communication & go-to-market materials.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, clean, and analyze business and product data (weekly / monthly / quarterly).
- Standardize datasets and perform data reconciliation with insurance partners and vendors using Excel.
- Build and maintain product performance reports and dashboards.
Partner & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with insurance partners, vendors, and suppliers on product details, pricing, and benefits.
- Support partner evaluation frameworks and selection criteria.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
Documentation & Presentation
- Prepare product documents, internal guidelines, reports, and management presentations.
- Draft professional business emails and product proposals for partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, or related fields.
- 13 years of experience as Product Manager, Product Executive, Insurance Product, Product Analyst, or Insurance Operations.
- Experience in insurance or financial services products is highly preferred.
- Strong product thinking with solid analytical capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, reconciliation).
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into product decisions.
- Clear communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint / Canva).
- Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive.
- Comfortable working with data, product documentation, and multiple stakeholders.
- Professional and collaborative mindset when working with partners.
