Our Oncology team builds intelligent products that support clinicians in delivering faster, more accurate cancer care. We are looking for motivated Product Engineer Interns who want to build impactful healthcare products and grow into future Product Engineers.
About the Role
As a Product Engineer Intern, you will work closely with software engineers, AI scientists, clinicians, and product teams to develop and improve Oncology products used in real clinical workflows. You will receive hands-on, on-the-job coaching through real projects and be mentored by PhD-level scientists and senior AI engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of Oncology products and AI-powered applications.
- Collaborate with engineers, clinicians, and product teams to improve product quality and user experience.
- Validate AI outputs and clinical knowledge to improve accuracy.
- Test new features, investigate issues, and propose product improvements.
- Document findings and contribute to product development.

Qualifications
- Final-year undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, AI, Bioinformatics, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technologies you will work with:
- Development: Python, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Airflow, Minio, Docker, Git, CI/CD.
- AI: LLMs, AI Agents, RAG, Prompt Engineering, Model Evaluation.
- Available to work on-site at Gene Solutions (Ho Chi Minh city office) for at least 2 full days per week.
