The role of Product Development Temp at JR286 is to partner with cross functions to ensure the successful execution on the development of products. This is a temporary, 6-month role from November 2025 to May 2026.
What You'll Do:
- Liaison between corporate office and factories
- Assist in maintaining department reports:
- Product specifications
- BOM
- Project Tracker
- Capture and report sample process comments
- SMS Fabric Projections
- Margin product trackers
- Day to Day Development Process for In-Line and SMU Products.
- Communication Management between USA and Asia
- Raw Material Expertise
- Sample Evaluations & Comments. Also, Sample management
- Product specification review and communication
- Packaging Follow-up & Development
- Manufacturing knowledge expertise
- Extensive Internal & External Email Communication and Follow-Up
- Weekly Meetings with Departments and Cross Functional Partners
- Travel to factories across Asia required
- Exercise independent judgment and take initiative to drive business results
- Other tasks as assigned
What to Bring:
- College degree in Engineering or business management required
- 5+ years experience in a large-scale hard/soft goods manufacturing environment in the sporting goods industry
- Know Adobe Illustrator Software program.
- Knowledge of costing, fitting, grading, construction and technologies relevant to performance Apparel/Accessories/Footwear is necessary.
- Strong understanding of design, development and product management process from inception through production.
- Ability to interpret design intent and offer alternative solutions.
- Ability to work well under pressure, to anticipate and troubleshoot issues of consequence to quality and delivery with ease.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Domestic and overseas travel is required and is scheduled/planned as per project status or seasonal requirements.
