Product Development Lead

We're Hiring: Product Development Lead (Myspa & GMUP)

We are looking for a Product Development Lead who can bridge technology, product strategy, and team leadership to help scale Myspa and GMUP into leading beauty and wellness platforms. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys solving real business challenges through technology, and has strong experience leading engineering teams.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Core Backend Development

* Minimum 5+ years of PHP development experience

Strong proficiency in:

* Laravel Modern architecture development for scalable new features and platform expansion

* CodeIgniter Maintaining and optimizing legacy systems and performance-driven applications

Hands-on experience with NodeJS (ExpressJS, NestJS) for:

* Microservices architecture

* Real-time functionalities (Chat systems, Notifications, Event-driven services)

Database & Performance Optimization

Deep understanding of MySQL / MariaDB

* Query optimization

* Indexing strategies

* Database partitioning

Experience with NoSQL technologies such as:

* Redis (Caching, Queue Management)

* MongoDB (Flexible data architecture) Advantageous

System Architecture & DevOps Capability

Experience monitoring system health including:

* CPU Load

* Memory Utilization

* Network I/O

* Disk Storage

* API uptime monitoring and endpoint health checks

Strong knowledge of:

* Docker & Docker Compose for containerized deployment

* CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) for automated testing and deployment

Proven experience managing:

* Secure environment variables (.env)

* API key and credential security

* Database and file storage backup automation

* Disaster recovery and incident response planning

LEADERSHIP & PRODUCT OWNERSHIP

Engineering Leadership

Strong ability to conduct code reviews ensuring:

* Clean code standards

* Scalable design patterns

* Performance optimization

* Proven experience mentoring and developing Junior and Mid-level developers

* Ability to build a high-performance and accountable engineering culture

Project & Product Management

* Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies

Ability to:

* Estimate development effort accurately

* Prioritize roadmap initiatives

* Translate business requirements into technical execution

* Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams
