Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors, and internal team to troubleshoot product outlook, material, construction, and quality challenges
  • Ensure product integrity by monitoring samples against brand standards for aesthetic outlook, materials and finishes
  • Ensure designs adhere to licensor requirements, brand guidelines and manufacturing requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision and requirements, as well as to oversee the entire product development lifecycle
  • Capture high-quality product photos that showcase items in the best context for licensing approval
  • Design thoughtful lighting setups and select optimal shooting angles to minimize post-production editing
  • Expertly retouch and enhance images using Adobe Photoshop to accurately visualize and simulate the final manufactured product
  • Ensure digital assets align with cost-saving initiatives and material specifications
  • Maintain an organized photography studio and properly care for all equipment
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously elevate photo quality standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Passionate about design and innovation
  • Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Digital Media or related field
  • Preferably 2 years of experience in product design role, preferably within the consumer goods industry
  • Minimum 2 years of professional photography experience, preferably in a studio environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Knowledge of major global licensing characters and properties
  • Good hand-sketching and visualization skills with hands-on experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Understanding of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication abilities
  • Open-minded approach to exploring new design ideas and techniques.
