Job Description
- Support and coordinate the full product development process, from early design input through technical review and readiness for commercialization, for assigned seasonal footwear projects.
- Assist in supervising and mentoring team members to ensure development milestones are met with accuracy and on schedule.
- Serve as a key technical resource, providing product construction support and development guidance aligned with brand direction to cross-functional partners in North America and Asia.
- Contribute to both seasonal execution and longer-term product initiatives through hands-on technical involvement and problem-solving.
- Help track development timelines, key deliverables, and approval checkpoints in line with established seasonal planning calendars.
Requirements
- 810+ years of experience in the footwear industry, with solid exposure to product development, industrialization, manufacturing, or quality assurance.
- 24 years of experience in a team lead, senior specialist, or assistant management role.
- Strong understanding of material selection and application based on performance requirements and intended use.
- Sound knowledge of footwear construction techniques and structural design principles.
- Good familiarity with seasonal development calendars, milestone expectations, and cross-functional deliverables.
- Advanced technical knowledge of materials, lasts, molds, tooling, compound development, and foot anatomy.
- Proficient in the use of technical measurement and evaluation tools commonly applied in footwear development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin language skills are a plus.
