The Product Developer is responsible for managing the development process of garments, from initial design concepts to production-ready samples, ensuring that designs are feasible, and meet quality standards.
What Will You Involve
- Collaborate with the Sales team to collect design requirements, such as materials, style, colors, and specifications.
- Review design ideas to ensure they can be made and are practical for production.
- Work with designers, technical teams, and suppliers to create product samples and fix sample-making issues
- Work with the purchasing team to source fabrics, trims, and other materials that match the design and cost requirements.
- Plan and track the development process
- Review samples to ensure they meet the design and quality standards.
- Research new materials, trends, and technologies to improve future products.
What We Need You Have
- 3 years of experience in product development, sample development or similar role in the garment/ textile/footwear industry.
- Good command in English.
- Good knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production process.
- Ability to communicate and convey information clearly and effectively.
- Organizational skills, progress monitoring, and time management.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented.
