Role Purpose:
Strategic sourcing to supply products & services to internal stakeholders on time, cost-effectiveness, maintain a great supplier relationship and ensure procurement activities are aligned with the group policy
Responsibilities:
- Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies, identify and research potential new suppliers
- RFQ, tender, nurtures relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices & terms for company
- Develops and implements strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services and maintaining stock levels
- Perform cost analysis and cost saving initiative
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Follow up delivery from suppliers to ensure goods & service are delivered to users on time
- Prepare Monthly Cost Saving Report and evaluate supplier's performance Bi-Yearly
- Work with team members and superior to complete duties as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, economics or business administration
- 10+ years previous experience in purchasing IT products/media/POSM and 2+ years experience as a procurement manager is a must
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, understanding of procurement processes
- Talent in negotiations, networking, and supplier relationship management
- Proactive, accurate and precise attention to detail and CAN-DO attitude
- Ability to analyze problems & strategize for better solutions, manage time efficiently, goal-oriented, organized team player
- Fluent in spoken & written English (TOEIC >650) and good computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
