Supplier Relationship Management

  • Align procurement activities with corporate guidelines, ethics, and compliance (anti-corruption, anti-bribery, conflict minerals where applicable, data privacy)
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, Compliance, and HSE to ensure smooth cross-functional workflows and audit readiness.

Cost, Quality, and Compliance

  • Lead cost optimization initiatives (bulk negotiating, contract consolidation, supplier localization strategies where beneficial)
  • Ensure quality compliance for purchased goods/services, including supplier audits and acceptance testing where relevant
  • Manage import/export compliance, duties/taxes, incoterms, and logistics optimization for cross-border spend

Cross-Regional Coordination

  • Synchronize procurement activities across Vietnam, Thailand, Romania, and India; support regional procurement centers as applicable
  • Manage currency risk mitigation strategies (forex hedging, local pricing) and payment terms optimization
  • Facilitate the roll-out of procurement digital tools (eProcurement, ERP integrations, supplier portal)

Budgeting and Reporting

  • Own regional/global procurement budget, forecast savings, and spend analytics.
  • Prepare and present procurement dashboards to senior leadership; provide insights to drive business decisions

Projects and Change Management

  • Lead procurement workstreams for M&A activity, site expansions, or divestitures as needed
  • Manage procurement-related IT/system implementations (ERP modules, e-sourcing, supplier onboarding)

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 8–12+ years in procurement/supply chain with global or regional leadership roles; experience across multiple countries and industries is highly desirable.
  • Industry knowledge: Manufacturing/tech/industrial sectors are a plus; familiarity with electronics, components, or industrial services is beneficial.

  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of procurement processes (P2P/P2P), eProcurement systems (ERP/SCM), eSourcing platforms, data analytics tools, and MS Office.
  • Negotiation and contracting: Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex contracts and drive savings (target savings metrics to be defined by company).
  • Regulatory/compliance: Knowledge of local and international trade regulations, import/export controls, tax implications, anti-corruption laws (e.g., FCPA/UKBribery Act where relevant), and data privacy considerations.
  • Leadership: Experience in building or leading cross-functional teams, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed (country-to-country coordination).
