Job Description
Departmental Administration & Team Leadership:
- Direct and monitor daily workflows within the sourcing unit, ensuring effective delegation, task tracking, and milestone achievement.
- Enforce corporate policy compliance, oversee attendance, and establish functional training schedules for sub-ordinate staff.
- Conduct periodic progress reviews with team members to resolve operational hurdles and align performance with functional goals.
- Consolidate departmental analytics and headcount performance metrics to report directly to executive leadership.
- Drive cross-departmental integration and maintain cohesive communication channels to optimize operational efficiency.
Indirect Procurement & Category Execution:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end procurement cycles across all indirect spend categories (e.g., office equipment, services, maintenance contracts, operating tools).
- Engage directly with internal user departments to define scope of work, technical specifications, and strategic sourcing plans.
- Lead supplier selection, tender processes, commercial evaluations, contract negotiations, and finalizations.
- Maintain strict adherence to Vietnamese statutory regulations and corporate purchasing guidelines.
- Track contract performance, monitor vendor service delivery, and safeguard overall purchasing quality.
Cost Optimization & Process Improvement:
- Partner with the finance team to supervise, track, and align procurement budgets.
- Formulate cost-reduction measures and evaluate supplier value using market trend analyses and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) frameworks.
- Standardize procurement documentation and assist in integrating ERP systems / S2P modules.
- Deliver periodic KPI reporting, financial savings analyses, and vendor performance assessments to management to aid strategic decision-making
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of total experience in Procurement/Sourcing, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or equivalent capacity in manufacturing sectors (mechanical, electronics, or assembly industries strongly preferred).
- Proven expertise in purchasing Indirect products and services.
- Core Competencies & Skills:
- Solid understanding of purchasing protocols, Incoterms, and contractual negotiations.
- Mandatory: High proficiency in operating SAP ERP procurement systems.
- Professional English proficiency (all 4 skills) for routine interaction with global headquarters.
- Strong hands-on mindset with willingness to directly handle detailed daily operational tasks.
