About the role
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially strong Procurement Executive to lead end-to-end procurement execution, supplier negotiations, commercial terms development, and cross-functional process improvement. You will finetune procurement workflows, build new supplier relationships, and ensure the company operates with efficient, disciplined, and high-quality procurement practices.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role requiring strong hands-on skill, excellent communication in Vietnamese and English, and the ability to influence suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Important: This is a temporary 6 months position with possibility of extension.
What you'll do
- Maintain and upgrade procurement standards by developing/improving internal processes/SOP.
- Prepare RFQ packages aligned with vendor pre-qualification and assessment criteria.
- Lead the end-to-end RFQ cycles, train the team to work in a systematic way.
- Lead supplier negotiations to achieve competitive pricing and robust commercial terms.
- Work internally with various departments to enhance current contracts terms.
- Review and negotiate with supplier to ensure contracts are in place.
- Collaborate with QA/ESG teams to integrate audit findings and compliance considerations
- Ensure procurement operations and workflows comply with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.
- Define and align cross-functional ownership for workflow execution.
- Train the team to use tools effectively: quotation comparison sheets, supplier scoring, procurement dashboards, and decision logs.
- Partner with Finance and Technical Team on payment terms, pricing structures, and cost controls.
- Collaborate with Cost Engineering/Data teams to incorporate costing logic and analytics into procurement decisions.
- Maintain strong documentation discipline, version control, and governance compliance.
- Build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders through structured communication and reliable delivery.
- Frequent travel to factory's sites within and outside of HCMC
Qualifications and skills requirements
Qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Merchandising, or Commercial roles within buying office or trading companies.
- Experience in furniture, home goods, consumer goods, industrial products, or manufacturing supply chains is preferred.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiations, commercial terms, and procurement operations.
- Experience building procurement processes, SOPs, or tools
- Understand basic manufacturing processes, BOM logic, and vendor capability assessment.

- Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable building tools/systems from scratch.
- Strong negotiation skills with confidence in supplier-facing discussions.
- Excellent stakeholder management across multiple departments.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving.
- Provide guidance to the Procurement team on new ways of working with a calm, patient, and structured approach
- Excellent English (spoken and written).
- High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
- Highly adaptable and able to travel frequently when required.
