Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic sourcing & commercial management:

  • Build and manage a strategic Vendor Panel for food ingredients, additives, and related commodities within the B2B trading scope.
  • Identify, audit, and establish partnerships with global and local manufacturers to secure the most competitive Cost-to-Serve.
  • Analyze global commodity trends and market fluctuations to make data-driven decisions on procurement timing and volume.
  • Finding Suppliers (Sourcing): look for reliable suppliers in Vietnam and overseas (Europe, USA, India, China) to buy food ingredients and additives.
  • Price Negotiation: negotiate with suppliers to get the lowest prices, better payment terms, and exclusive distribution rights.

Operational buying & supply Chain:

  • Oversee the end-to-end P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process, collaborating closely with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Manage safety stock levels to ensure high fulfillment rates while optimizing working capital and cash flow.
  • Market analysis: follow the global market prices (sugar, milk, chemicals, etc.) to decide the best time to buy and stock up.
  • Inventory management: work with the Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure we have enough stock for customers but not too much waste.
  • Financial control: manage the budget, track costs, and report profit margins to the Board of Directors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.

  • Education: bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Foreign Trade, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Industry background: direct experience in B2B Trading, Food Ingredients, or FMCG is highly preferred.

Core Skills:

  • Advanced negotiation: proven track record of closing high-value international contracts.
  • Financial acumen: deep understanding of P&L, landed cost calculation, and trade finance.
  • Risk management: ability to navigate global supply chain disruptions and currency risks.
  • Language: professional fluency in English (working directly with international suppliers).
