Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Engineer within the Engineering Team at Thermtrol (VSIP) Co., Ltd., located in VSIP I, (Binh Duong) Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Process Quality Engineer to join our engineering team.
This role is responsible for research manufacturing technology and process to standardize and implement a best quality standard for the current and new products.
Key responsibilities:
- Follow up plans of building samples and/or new products and provide process and technical support for manufacturing operations and other corporate functions with the ultimate goal of improving performance, efficiency, and profitability.
- Interface with relative personnel to actively troubleshoot problems as well as continually improve the process. Ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved pertain to Safety, Quality, Production, Cost Standards, and Operational Excellence.
- Participate and assist in the development of new process technology, equipment, and projects.
- Validate and start-up new processes, new equipments and transfer to related departments, especially new molds. 1/2 AD005-06
- Make operation procedure, work instruction, troubleshooting instruction, maintenance program, and calibration instruction for new equipments.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives, improve process yields, and utilize Lean and Six Sigma Methodology.
- To train, educate and ensure all subordinates (if any) abide and implement all requirements in documents specified in TVN.
- To train production personnel in new equipment and processes.
- To ensure monitoring and verification of all activities of subordinates if any.
- Abide Company Regulation and all documented manuals, procedures, work instructions of Thermtrol (VSIP) Co., Ltd (TVN).
- To perform other ad-hoc duties when assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Or related technical fields
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge and experience in mechanical or mechatronics engineering, CNC programming, PLC systems, manufacturing process design, and technical documentation/reporting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or manufacturing technology roles in similar industries.
- Experience working in manufacturing environments with machining, automation, or industrial production systems is preferred.
Technical skills:
- Proficient using SolidWorks, knowledgeable about PLC Programming and CNC programming.
- Familiar with technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Experience preparing and analyzing technical reports.
- Understanding of quality systems, manufacturing standards, and process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma is an advantage.

***Company shuttle bus is provided for employee from Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai.
