Personal Financial Services: We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Overview Of The Role

The Privilege Banking Relationship Manager at UOB Vietnam is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth individual clients, providing comprehensive financial solutions and personalized service to meet their unique wealth management needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Privilege Banking clients through proactive engagement and personalized financial advice.
  • Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis to understand client objectives, risk appetite, and investment horizons.
  • Propose and implement tailored wealth management strategies, including investment products, insurance, and other banking solutions, in line with UOB's product offerings and regulatory guidelines.
  • Regularly review client portfolios and provide timely updates on market trends and performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to acquire new high-net-worth clients through referrals, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and other internal stakeholders to deliver holistic financial solutions.
  • Monitor and manage client profitability and ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a similar relationship management role, preferably within a reputable financial institution.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products, insurance, foreign exchange, and other financial instruments.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with affluent clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements in Vietnam.
  • Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centricity.
