About The Role
On behalf of our client aleading global SaaS and Fintech company developingcloud-based business platforms used by millions of users in Asia.
They specialize infinancial management andHR solutions that help enterprises digitize operations and optimize performance.
Our client is hiring aPrincipal Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to join their Vietnam product engineering team. You'll take the lead inbuilding and optimizing backend systems for a large-scale HR SaaS product, whilementoring other engineers and ensuringsystem performance and scalability .
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services that can handle large-scale data and complex business logic.
Architect and optimize database design to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code in Ruby on Rails.
Continuously refactor and improve code quality and performance.
Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning.
Ensure application reliability, security, and scalability in production.
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate closely with international product teams to align on technical direction and delivery quality.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in backend development, with 45+ years focusing on Ruby on Rails.
Proven experience in system architecture design & API integration with external systems.
Strong understanding of SOLID principles , design patterns , and engineering best practices.
Hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL , including performance tuning and optimization.
