Join Our Team as a Pricing Specialist!

UNI is seeking a qualified and competent candidate for the Pricing Specialist position with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This role aims to strengthen the company's capacity for analysis, development, and management of the pricing database for logistics, customs, transportation, and CO services.

This position will play a crucial role in enhancing quotation capabilities, optimizing costs, and developing the company's vendor network, while directly supporting the sales process.

1. Vendor Analysis and Development (Procurement)

Sourcing & Evaluation: Search, evaluate, and propose service providers (shipping lines, forwarders, warehouses, CO agents, trucking, etc.).

Market Monitoring: Track and analyze fluctuations in freight rates, surcharges, exchange rates, and policies of shipping lines/vendors.

Standardization: Standardize price lists by route, service type, and target customer group.

Formula Establishment: Build detailed pricing formulas including base cost, various surcharges, and profit margin.

Reporting: Periodically update and prepare weekly/monthly reports analyzing price fluctuations.

Tender Calculation: Collaborate with the Sales / Project Manager to calculate prices for bidding projects or large contracts.

Margin Strategy: Propose and develop appropriate profit margin strategies for specific customer segments.

Optimization: Analyze quotation results and actual profit to continuously optimize the pricing strategy.

Providing necessary research and strategic information to the sales team for effective customer acquisition.

Pre-Sales Activity Support: Actively support pre-sales activities by providing data and analysis.

Customer & Network Research: Conduct thorough customer research to understand needs and competitive positioning and create network diagrams to aid in solution presentation.

Experience: Minimum of 05 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, pricing, procurement, or customs.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of transportation cost structures (Sea/Air/Road), various surcharges, and hidden costs.

Preference: Existing good relationships with vendors, forwarders, or shipping lines is a strong advantage.

Working Hours:

oMonday to Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

oSaturday: Alternate weeks.
