Job Description

In charge for pricing Trans-Pacific routes (US/Canada)

Source, Build and Maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, NVOCCs, and agencies.

Keep track of market movement for proactively adjustment of pricing strategies or suggest to line manager for appropriate pricing approach to market changes.

Update pricing data and maintain accurate rate sheets in the system.

Provide quotations and negotiate rates/space with shipping lines to meet customer needs.

Coordinate with internal teams (CS, Booking, Operations) to ensure space availability and shipment accuracy.

Support customers by addressing queries, resolving pricing issues, and providing timely updates.

Collaborate with the global pricing team for short/ long term pricing strategies, sharing & quick respond to market changes.

Weekly/ monthly report/ suggest to upper managers for area of pricing managements. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the Directors or upper level.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in foreign trade, international economics, maritime transport, or related fields.
  • At least 05 years of experience in a similar role within the forwarding, shipping, or logistics industry.
  • Experienced in dealing/ working with shipping lines, especially TP trade.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sea Freight and Pricing.
  • Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent at problem-solving, communication, negotiation & presentation skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, power point etc.)
  • High level of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
  • Service-minded, detail-oriented, hard-working, and positive thinking.
