Our client is a Hong Kongbased digital transformation company providing innovative technology solutions, including ReportNOW (a no-code data analytics and automation platform) and rTag (IoT-based smart access and workplace management systems). As part of our expansion into the Vietnam market, we are looking for local talent to support business development through technical sales support and customer engagement.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Sales Support Specialist with a solid technical foundation to support sales activities in Vietnam. This role acts as a bridge between local customers and regional technical teams (Hong Kong/China), supporting lead follow-up, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (PoC) deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on inbound leads and customer inquiries via email, phone, and meetings
- Understand customer requirements related to digital transformation solutions (IoT, data platforms, automation)
- Support sales activities by nurturing leads and qualifying opportunities
- Set up and deliver basic product demos and Proof-of-Concepts for solutions such as:
- rTag (IoT smart access & workplace systems)
- ReportNOW (no-code analytics and application platform)
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues during demos to ensure smooth customer experience
- Act as a communication bridge between Vietnamese customers and Hong Kong/China development teams
- Translate customer requirements, feedback, and technical needs accurately
- Coordinate discussions to ensure solutions align with local market expectations
- Support local marketing initiatives (eDM follow-ups, events, customer meetings)
- Collect and share insights on Vietnam's digital transformation and IoT market trends
- Maintain accurate records of leads, demos, and customer feedback in CRM systems
- Prepare internal reports and documentation in English and/or Mandarin
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in technical sales support, sales engineering, IT consulting, or technical support
- Exposure to IoT solutions, software demos, PoC delivery, or digital platforms is highly preferred
- Basic understanding of IoT devices, software setup, and PoC execution
- Ability to quickly learn and explain technical products
- Familiarity with CRM tools, demo environments, and basic networking concepts
Language Requirements
- Good English for internal and external communication
- Vietnamese (native or fluent) for local customer engagement
