Job Description

Content Hub is the entertainment business unit of DatVietVAC Group Holdings, bringing together leading content and media brands including Dong Tay Promotion, Vie Channel, VieIP, VieNETWORK, and other entertainment platforms. The Business Unit develops and produces television shows, reality programs, concerts, digital content, and original entertainment IPs for millions of audiences across Vietnam.

We are looking for a PR & Risk Manager to safeguard the reputation of Content Hub's programs, artists, and brands through proactive public relations, media relations, social listening, and crisis communications. As entertainment projects directly influence the corporate reputation of DatVietVAC Group Holdings, this role serves as the key communications lead in identifying reputation risks, shaping public narratives, and leading crisis response to protect both the Business Unit and the Group's overall brand reputation.

I. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. CRISIS & BRAND REPUTATION MANAGEMENT (35%)

  • Operate daily social listening with a three-level early warning system to identify emerging reputation risks.
  • Assess incident severity within 30 minutes and activate the appropriate crisis response workflow.
  • Draft holding statements and initial communication responses within minutes during crisis situations.
  • Act as the primary media spokesperson for approved incidents and ensure message consistency.
  • Escalate critical reputation risks simultaneously to the Head of MarCom and MarCom Operations Director.

2. PUBLIC NARRATIVE & REPUTATION STRATEGY (30%)

  • Develop proactive communication strategies to shape public opinion and strengthen brand reputation.
  • Build content direction and strategic seeding plans for entertainment projects and high-profile productions.
  • Ensure all seeding activities comply with approved communication guidelines and source verification principles.
  • Collaborate with Creative, Social, Production, and Marketing teams to minimize negative sentiment and reinforce positive brand narratives.

3. MEDIA & INFLUENCER RELATIONS (20%)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media agencies, KOLs, KOCs, and entertainment partners.
  • Organize press conferences, media launches, interviews, and public relations activities for television shows, concerts, and entertainment projects.
  • Coordinate media communications throughout project lifecycles and ensure consistent external messaging.
  • Support artist, talent, and program image management when required.

4. REPORTING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (10%)

  • Prepare periodic reputation health reports and media risk analysis for leadership.
  • Conduct post-crisis reviews and identify lessons learned after each incident.
  • Continuously improve crisis communication processes, playbooks, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Analyze sentiment trends and provide actionable recommendations for future campaigns.

5. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES (5%)

  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the direct supervisor.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or Crisis Communications.
  • Minimum 3–4 years of management experience, including leading at least one major communications crisis.
  • Experience in the entertainment, media, artist management, or highly sensitive consumer brand industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of crisis communication frameworks, reputation management, media relations, and public narrative strategy.
  • Hands-on experience operating social listening platforms and interpreting audience sentiment.
  • Understanding of media, advertising, and personal image regulations is an advantage.
  • AI proficiency is required, including using AI for large-scale sentiment analysis, early risk detection, discussion monitoring, and drafting communication statements (with human approval before publication).
  • Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with media and external partners.
  • Ability to remain calm, objective, and responsive in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and at least one professional social listening platform (YouNet Media, Buzzmetrics, Meltwater, or equivalent).
  • Strong written and spoken English for working with international media and partners.
  • Willingness to work outside Office hours, including evenings and weekends during major productions or crisis situations.
