The Power System Operator role supports the safe, economical, and effective operation of electrical infrastructure at an industrial park in Dong Nai City. Working 12-hour shifts, the position monitors, operates, and troubleshoots 22 kV power, street-lighting, generator, and solar systems. A shuttle bus service from Ho Chi Minh City is provided.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate electrical systems during the assigned shift and troubleshoot the industrial park's 22 kV power and street-lighting systems
- Maintain electrical assets and tools while monitoring the safe, economical, and effective use of electric power
- Hand over electrical assets, system conditions, and outstanding work to the next shift at the end of each assigned shift
- Inspect electrical systems and report operational conditions and unusual findings to the shift leader or General Manager (GM)
- Recommend appropriate corrective plans and follow up on work related to the assigned shift
- Operate the 22 kV electrical system, generators, and solar power system
Requirements
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in power system operations
- Ability to supervise and operate electrical equipment
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and a proactive approach to work
