JOB OVERVIEW

Manage whole procure to pay process in a smooth, accurate and in timely manner. Ensures the required information flow across the departments and connect the departments when required.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue sample and production purchase orders (i.e., PO's) via the ERP system (i.e., SAP)
• Oversee the purchase order process, from creation to delivery
• Perform daily purchase order maintenance inclusive of cost, quantities, ex-factory dates and ship modes
• Perform purchase order size scale adjustments in ERP and subsequently submit to applicable vendors
• Create inbound delivery numbers (IBD's) for each PO being delivered in SAP for reporting visibility and validate quantities against shipping documents
• Maintain PO data integrity, specifically ETA dates
• Review weekly WIP reports and communicate any issues to applicable teams
• Partner with cross functional partners throughout the production lifecycle to ensure the on time delivery of all purchase orders
• Partner with the product development and sourcing team to validate FOB costing and vendor information
• Partner with the accounts payable team to resolve any invoice discrepancies
• Approve vendor bookings through the logistics portal.
• Backup for purchasing management when required
• Travels require
• Plus, any other requirements as directed by Management

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Very good knowledge of PO management and P2P process
• Proven experience with ERP systems, ideally with SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications, i.e Excel, Word, PowerPoint with capabilities on advanced report building and analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
• Open mind and highly communicative
• Independent and structured way of working with a high focus on results and a hands-on mentality
• Enjoy having ownership for your responsibilities but on the same time enjoy Team working.
• Highly analytical and focus driven
• Enjoys working in a multicultural environment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Education in Business Administration, Supply-Chain Management or Procurement.
• From 3 years experience in Purchasing/Order management within SAP or similar ERP
• Previous experience in Textile Industry-Apparel, ideally within similar roles.
