PLC Software Engineer (Beckhoff/ TwinCAT)

We are seeking highly motivated PLC Software Engineer(s) to develop and maintain machine automation software using the Beckhoff TwinCAT platform. You will work closely with global engineering teams to develop PLC control logic, HMI applications, machine diagnostics, and industrial communication solutions for high-precision automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop PLC software using Beckhoff TwinCAT (IEC 61131-3 / Structured Text).
• Design machine control logic based on PackML State Machine.
• Integrate Beckhoff hardware, EtherCAT I/O, and precision measurement modules.
• Develop and maintain HMI features for machine operation, diagnostics, calibration, and operator guidance.
• Implement machine event logging, alarm handling, and tower light control.
• Support calibration functions and display calibration data through the HMI.
• Develop and maintain machine recipe and parameter management.
• Integrate machine data with MES/OEE systems via OPC UA or other communication interfaces.
• Support machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and software improvements.

Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in PLC programming with Beckhoff TwinCAT.
• Strong knowledge of IEC 61131-3 (Structured Text).
• Solid experience working with C#, .NET is a great plus as well.
• Experience with HMI development, EtherCAT, OPC UA, and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with PackML, machine diagnostics, and recipe management is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in an international team.
• Fluent English communication skills.
