KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Platform Engineer, you'll play a crucial role at the intersection of Software Engineering and Systems Engineering. Your mission will be to build robust things as services for functional teams, ensuring seamless operations across various environments. Let's dive into the details:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build & maintain scalable, reliable, secured platform services.
• Drive automation initiatives across the organization to enhance efficiency.
• Deploy and manage full-stack platform ecosystems on various environments (on-premises and cloud).
• Act as the first line of Platform support for emergency tickets and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Handle X-as-a-Service responsibilities within the platform ecosystems.
• Design and manage large-scale systems to meet business needs.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of practical experience as a DevOps/Development engineer.
• Proficiency in implementing hybrid cloud infrastructure (70% on-premises, 30% cloud-based).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Gitflow processes, and database management (PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL).
• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (GO, Python, or Java).
• Skilled in system troubleshooting (VMWare/Proxmox/HCI) and scripting (Bash and Python).
• Understanding of UNIX/Linux internals, networking, load balancers (Nginx/Apache), and caching (Redis/RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaaC) tools (Terraform – must have, Pulumi – nice to have).
• Experience with monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana, Thanos, Loki).
