Position Title: Operation Manager (Binh Duong Plant)
(Currently, the plant relies on imports, but more local production is planned in the future, which will involve significant production line transfers.)
Report to: Plant Manager
Other information: We currently have over 300 employees, with plans for further expansion. The key products include heated seat components and electronic control modules and sensors etc.,
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations at the plant, while aligning with global standards and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, deep industry expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations across Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering functions.
- Ensure operational excellence in output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
- Lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Align plant operations with global standards in Production, Quality, Delivery, and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance).
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support corporate goals; provide clear direction and performance expectations to teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning across all operational functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and local authorities.
- Ensure a safe and compliant work environment; lead EHS programs and maintain regulatory compliance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, with strong knowledge of Tier 1 supplier operations.
- Minimum 510 years of proven leadership experience as an Operations Manager in a automotive manufacturing environment.
- In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality systems (e.g., IATF 16949).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; capable of leading cross-functional teams effectively.
- Experience working in a global matrix organization is a plus.
