Overview of the position

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing our factory operations, ensuring efficient production, quality compliance, cost optimization, and adherence to safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to manage multi-site teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of 2 plants
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure alignment with business targets.
  • Set and monitor the performance of the plant against ofi standards and targets in areas such as manufacturing and operating efficiency, administration efficiency, legal compliance, inventory control, finished goods distribution, and human resource management

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, certifications, and customer specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement in quality control processes.

Cost & Resource Optimization:

  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Focus on Operational excellence and continuous improvement:
  • Lead Opex and Capex deployment in the plant.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team across both sites.
  • Provide training and development to enhance workforce capability.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve plant performance.
  • End to End Project Management

Experience And Qualification

  • 10 to 12 years of experience in food manufacturing with minimum 5 years as factory manager leading the operations.
  • Experience in Ready to Eat manufacturing essential.
  • Degree in food / production technology / Operations Management
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
