Job Description
As a Plant Manager & member of the senior leadership team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily plant operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
- Overseeing the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulations.
- Leading and coordinating teams to optimize productivity and quality standards.
- Carry out training and performance assessments via the shift supervisors and implement training programs to improve skill base to meet the on-going needs of the business
- Monitoring budgets, resources, and schedules to maintain cost-effective operations.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing processes.
- Collaborating with other departments to align plant activities with company objectives.
- Implementing and maintaining maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
- Monitoring the site's performance by gathering relevant data, running the necessary trials / DOE's and producing statistical findings and reports.
- Ensuring clear communication across all levels of the plant workforce.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidates will exhibit the following skills and characteristics:
- Experience in lean manufacturing to support continuous improvement actions improvement, manufacturing variance control
- Knowledge of industry best practice in manufacturing risk
- Prior Experience managing a plant for a MNC business in Vietnam, or more broadly SEA
- Educational background in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in managing plant operations and leading teams effectively.
- Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
