Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing & Operational Leadership
- Lead day-to-day plant operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, delivery commitments, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
- Establish production priorities and allocate resources effectively to meet customer requirements and business goals.
- Oversee the utilization of manpower, equipment, and manufacturing assets to maximize operational efficiency.
- Monitor plant performance and analyze operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and address production challenges.
Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization
- Implement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Drive continuous improvement programs using Lean Manufacturing and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Develop and standardize work processes and operating procedures to improve consistency and reduce operational risks.
- Promote a culture of innovation and problem-solving throughout the organization.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Foster a safe working environment and champion workplace safety initiatives across all departments.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with engineering, supply chain, sales, product management, and quality teams to support business objectives.
- Support new product introductions and collaborate on product improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team.
- Create a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous learning.
- Provide coaching and guidance to ensure effective execution of business and operational plans.
- Strengthen organizational capabilities to support future business growth and evolving market demands.
Strategic Planning
- Develop and execute operational plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Support regional leadership in shaping manufacturing strategies and long-term operational roadmaps.
- Utilize data and performance analytics to support informed decision-making and resource planning.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience within manufacturing or industrial operations environments
- At least 5 years of leadership experience managing a production facility, manufacturing plant, or similar operation
- Experience working within multinational or internationally operated organizations is highly preferred
