We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations for a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility in Vietnam. This role will be responsible for production, maintenance, quality, EHS, and overall operational performance.
The successful candidate will provide leadership across the site, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and support future growth and expansion activities. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the long-term success of a growing manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and cost objectives.
- Drive operational performance through KPI management, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and mentor teams across production, maintenance, quality, and EHS functions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to improve plant performance and support growth initiatives.
- Oversee maintenance and reliability programs to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Support capital projects, facility expansions, commissioning activities, and production ramp-up efforts.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience within heavy industrial, process manufacturing, metals, chemicals, or related production environments.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing manufacturing or production operations.
- Proven track record of improving operational performance, developing teams, and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience supporting plant startups, commissioning activities, or major expansion projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Working proficiency in English is required.
