Key Resposibilites:
1. Plant Budget & Cost Control (P&L Management)
- Take full responsibility for the total cost and profit of both factories.
- Make and manage the yearly budget for factory operations, equipment buying, and maintenance (OPEX & CAPEX).
- Keep a close eye on production costs: minimize waste, save raw materials (especially seasonal agricultural products), and optimize labor costs.
- Review daily/weekly/monthly cost reports and find ways to fix any over-budget issues.
2. Daily Production & Plant Operations
- Lead and control daily operations across 2 factories to hit targets on time (volume, quality, and delivery).
- Manage the raw material input and production schedule based on the harvesting seasons.
- Work closely with the Maintenance team to keep machines running smoothly and reduce breakdown time.
- Apply Lean manufacturing or Continuous Improvement tools to make the production lines faster and cleaner.
3. Factory Standards, Food Safety & Compliance
- Make sure both plants strictly follow food safety rules (ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000, etc.).
- Maintain high standards for Workplace Safety (EHS) to ensure zero accidents.
- Welcome and work with government inspectors, customer auditors, and group auditors.
4. Team Leadership
- Direct and manage the plant management team (Production, QC, Maintenance, Warehouse, HSE, HR).
- Train, motivate, and build a strong team spirit on the shop floor.
- Evaluate team performance and solve any conflict or problem between departments quickly.
Others: other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the AIG CEO or AIG COO.
Requirement:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Agronomy, Industrial Management, Engineering, or Business.
- Experience: at least 5–7 years of experience as a Plant Director. Experience managing more than 1 factory is a big plus.
- Industry: must have experience in Agriculture, Food Processing, or FMCG (Food) manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Good with numbers: clear understanding of factory costs, budgeting, and how to read a basic profit/loss report.
- Technical knowledge: good understanding of agri-product processing, drying, preservation, and packaging machinery.
- English: good English skills (speaking and writing) to report directly to the Board of Directors.
