Role Description The Planning Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hưng Yên. This position is responsible for supporting production and material planning activities to ensure on-time delivery, optimal inventory levels, and efficient use of manufacturing resources. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing demand forecasts, preparing detailed production plans, coordinating with manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics teams, and updating planning systems and reports. The Planning Specialist monitors key performance indicators, identifies variances, and recommends adjustments to improve accuracy and efficiency. This role also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and supports cross-functional communication to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Experience with production planning, inventory management, or supply chain coordination in a manufacturing or apparel environment.
  • Proficiency with planning tools and spreadsheets (e.g., Excel, ERP/MRP systems) and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement concepts and basic process optimization techniques is an advantage.
  • Experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing environment and proficiency in English and local language are beneficial.
