In charge of the coordination of production capacity, material planning, and scheduling activities to maximize capacity output.
Set up and implement methods and best practices related to the systems and processes that support inventory forecasting, purchasing, material control, and scheduling.
Monitor organization in attaining key metrics including working capital, inventory turns, days on hand, on-time delivery, and schedule adherence.
Well understanding department's key performance indicators and contributes to achieving these goals both individually and as a team.
Cooperate with purchasing to develop and implement supplier strategies to ensure correct delivery, quality and supply flow of product from them.
Foresee product needs by gathering, analyzing, and validating data
Make bottlenecks and adjust material plans to eliminate delays in production
Keep a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies with health and safety regulations.
Manage and evaluates direct reporting employee performance according to company standards for quality and productivity. Provides accurate, meaningful, and timely reviews.
Develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with others inside and outside of the organization
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production and production planning within mechanical, electronics, or finished goods manufacturing plants, with at least Assistant Section Manager (ASM) or equivalent level experience.
