We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to support the planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for a large-scale Electric Vehicle (EV) Assembly Plant Construction Project. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Management team, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project schedules are properly developed, maintained, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, look-ahead schedules, and progress monitoring reports.

Track project progress against approved schedules and identify potential delays, risks, and mitigation measures.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to collect schedule updates.

Analyze critical paths, float consumption, resource utilization, and schedule impacts.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Support project forecasting, manpower planning, and productivity analysis.

Participate in project meetings and provide planning-related insights and recommendations.

Review contractor schedules and assess compliance with project requirements and milestones.

Assist in the preparation of extension of time (EOT), delay analysis, and schedule risk assessments when required.

Ensure planning activities comply with project procedures and reporting standards.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning and scheduling within industrial, manufacturing, EPC, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in factory, manufacturing plant, automotive, EV, semiconductor, electronics, or industrial facility projects is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource planning, and progress measurement.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, construction sequences, and project execution plans.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
