Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Planning
  • Using MRP (Oracle) system and spreadsheets to generate and maintain production schedules.
  • Schedule Production, Prototype and Engineering builds
  • Interface with Engineering, Purchasing, Front End and Assembly manufacturing to ensure rapid response to customer requirements.
  • Have scheduled reviews with engineers/supervisors/line leads to discuss status and capacity issues
  • Update: on time deliveries, misses, reasons
  • Maintain offshore requirements and monitor parts status
  • Monitor daily shipments and coordinate with assembly lines to ensure product is to finish goods in a timely manner and keep customer service updated as to status
  • Pull and issue materials to production in time to make use of resources and productivity
  • Maintain and manage work order properly and strictly
  • Review ECN and RTP to ensure correct BOM's and planning codes
  • Review Exception Reports and take action reschedule and reschedule as necessary
  • Submit Purchase Requisitions in time, right quantity (for good prices).
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain and monitor Safety stock in Oracle
  • Monitor Inventory level of Finished Goods and Components
  • Review weekly and monthly reports for: shipping requirements, pull-ins/push-outs requirements and component part planning
  • Define reasons for excess inventory & have initiatives to improve stock level.
  • ERP application
  • Study and make use of Oracle to improve job quality
  • Study to generate various planning reports to support planning job.
  • Others
  • Maintain and manage documents in compliant with ISO.
  • Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department terms
  • Maintains a positive attitude and is cooperative in working with others
  • Adapts readily to changes in work caused by new requirements and/or situations
  • Other tasks assigned by superior

Education & Experience

  • Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant major, such as Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, business, finance or economic related field.
  • Work Experiment
  • A minimum 2 years of working experience in the field of Material demand in both system of Material Planning Requirement (MRP) and manual calculation.
  • Working in manufacturing environment, similar with our BOM (Bill Of Material) levels and Routing as well as Operations and/or technologies.

Skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and process procedures.
  • Highly accurate math skills
  • Proficient computer skills, experience with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Email, internet access
  • Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competency.
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.

Working Conditions

  • Works in standard office/manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment
  • Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others.
