BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Lead the Planning, Logistics and Customer Service teams. Participate in Plant Management team as well as the Commercial team.
Strategy and standards are to provide input to the Regional and OC strategy keeping OC perspective in mind. Implement in plant - with the OC Operations Director.
Focus:
Planning: Drive the SOP, inventory management, forecast accuracy for the short term and long term.
Logistics: Drive the local strategy and execution for the logistics activities (warehouse and transport).
Customer Service: Develop and lead the Supply Chain collaboration with our customers to drive Supply Chain efficiencies focus in driving sales and reducing our cost to serve cost.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND EXPECTED END RESULT
Team:
Lead the plant planning & logistics team, focused on scheduling/call off and (internal) plant logistics.
Work on Individual development plans, build capabilities, drive the team to deliver results and succession plans for the plan and deliver team.
Stakeholder management
Develop and lead an efficient and effective local (operational) planning (scheduling / call off) and (plant) logistics team.
Work closely within the plant (MT, production, other departments) and suppliers. And OC and regional P&D.
Operational contact for Raw / Packaging material suppliers, local logistic service providers and local planned co-packers.
Work with Customers to develop the Supply Chain collaboration.
Planning - S&OP / IBP
Lead the local SOP process making sure we have the right governance and execution.
Provide input for regional S&OP process. Lead weekly scheduling and call off process
Market development and NPD process
Optimize the plant efficiency, service and quality via optimized scheduling and call off and (internal) logistics.
Support the smoothless implementation of NPDs and art work changes.
Improvements
Support and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Plant and OC including sourcing decisions.
(Co-)develop and share best practices, systems optimization and operational excellence within the plant.

A) Education, Qualifications and Training
Bachelor with focus on Supply Chain
B) Experience required: 10 years of overall experience in a Supply Chain/ Plan and Deliver function in a Global FMCG;
C) Specialised Knowledge or Skills required: Experience with planning and logistics systems.
D) Critical Leadership (Success Profile) Competencies: Supply Chain Orientation, Network Optimization, Negotiation Skills, Strong communicator, excellent interpersonal skill and good at key stakeholder management.
