Job Title: PHP Developer
The job:
We are looking for a PHP Developer in developing and maintaining web applications, especially in e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with Zend/Laravel, MySQL, and payment gateway integration, along with a good understanding of system performance optimization and AWS RDS.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP (Zend and Laravel Framework)
- Integrate secure and stable payment gateways (Worldline, PayPal, Checkout.com
- (post-purchase flows only), Fraud check platforms (Forter) and a variety of 3rd-party APIs (Trustpilot, Aftership, couriers like DHL, FedEx, etc.).
- Optimize SQL queries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality, and follow best practices.
Requirements:- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with PHP, Zend Framework and MySQL. Know Laravel is advantage
- Have a good understanding of e-commerce platforms, specially the backend system
- (manage products, manage orders, manage warehouse and inventory ..)
- Experience with database optimization and AWS RDS is an advantage.
- Have knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP), MVC and design patterns.
- Familiar with CSS, JS and jQuery. Knowing and being able to work with VueJS is an
- advantage.
- Fluent English is required (international devops team, ability to collaborate with stakeholders
- too when required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork spirit.
