ABOUT THE JOB
- Maintain, refactor, and enhance existing applications built in PHP legacy versions
- Analyze legacy codebases and propose improvements for performance, maintainability, and scalability
- Participate in application modernization initiatives and migration projects
- Develop new features and modules following best practices and client needs
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Project Managers)
- Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical support when needed
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and reviews
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Proven experience with PHP (including legacy versions and Yii framework)
- Strong understanding of web application architecture and MVC frameworks
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Ability to analyze and work with large legacy codebases
- Experience with version control tools (Git)
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
- Good English communication.
