Yen Aura is a DTC skincare startup from Australia, known for products such as handmade soaps and turmeric-based cosmetics completely free from chemicals and made with 100% natural ingredients.

We are currently growing in the Australian market and will expand to the North American market in Q2 2026.

About the Role Performance Video Editor

As a Performance Video Editor at Yen Aura, your goal is to produce videos that generate the highest revenue on Meta Ads.

You will proactively come up with ideas, build scripts, and edit videos according to ad angles, in addition to receiving briefs from the Creative Strategist. You will continuously test new ad angles, hooks, and concepts to drive revenue on Meta Ads.

Scope of Work What will you do

Ideate, write scripts, and produce at least 14 performance videos per week.

Test new ad angles, hooks, and concepts every week.

Produce videos focused on conversion and revenue goals.

Receive briefs from the Creative Strategist and use footage from Content Creators to produce videos.

Participate in weekly Creative Strategy Sessions with the marketing team to analyse videos, receive training, and plan future video directions.

Stay updated on video advertising trends in the Australian and North American markets.

Proficient with AI tools and video editing tools to improve production efficiency.

Candidate Requirements Who are you

At least 2 years of experience editing performance videos for E-Commerce businesses in Western markets.

Strong creative mindset and excellent out-of-the-box thinking.

Clear understanding of hook body CTA structure in advertising videos.

Ability to ideate, write scripts, and produce high-converting video ads.

Understand advertising metrics such as CTR, Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CVR to optimise videos.

Self-driven, proactive, and responsible for deadlines and video performance.

Strong English communication skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing).
