The Role
As the Digital Marketing Performance Manager, you will be responsible for setting the strategy, hands on execution and day to day optimisation of all paid campaigns across all platforms including Google and Meta campaigns, as well as affiliates and other social channels where we advertise. Focus will be on running the campaigns smoothly in a timely fashion, and reporting and improving the performance.
Campaign Management:
- Manage all aspects of campaigns on all platforms
- Liaise with relevant teams to gather all the info and assets to be used in the campaigns
- Create campaigns and set parameters as per the strategy
- Troubleshoot any issues or make changes to campaigns as needed
- Test different campaigns and be able to provide feedback on which campaigns, assets, audiences and content works better in a data driven and organised manner.
- Be able to build data feeds and ensure accurate reporting on platforms (eg. Google Analytics)
Reporting:
- Provide feedback to creative teams on asset and content performance as well as platform specific needs
- Daily monitoring of all platforms performance and highlight/resolve issues before they arise
- Weekly reporting on performance to senior stakeholders and other teams.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders:
- Liaise with organic search agency to coordinate
- Engage Digital Product Team / Technology team to implement necessary reporting, data feeds and ensure accurate data on advertising platforms as well as internal systems.
- Give feedback on improvements to Dresden platforms arising from ad performance
- Attend dailies with the Marketing Team
- Be in close touch with the Frontline Retail Team to understand customer and Dresden team feedback.
Strategy:
- Decide and set up campaign structure and planning
- Stay informed on the industry updates, changes in algorithm and keep the campaigns up to date with the changes happening on platforms - especially across different countries.
- Provide suggestions on budgets and allocation.
- Suggest new opportunities in the form of different campaign types, different platforms.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Work independently and remotely without supervision while being able to manage multiple time zones and have a flexible working schedule
- Be able to handle all aspects of end to end execution of campaigns in all of the platforms (including posting, scheduling, troubleshooting, making changes to existing campaigns, preparing the reporting and the like)
- Understand the product, operations, and the financial drivers
- Be proactive in finding and sorting issues on a daily basis - you are the first point of contact on identifying any issue related to Google and Meta Platforms as well as anywhere we advertise digitally
- Demonstrate exceptional organisational skills
- Have a good understanding of GA4
- Have at least 5 years experience in performance marketing
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree (required) or higher qualifications (preferred), affiliate and SEO experience is a plus
- Work with the technology teams to trouble shoot problems and implement solutions such as data feeds, coupon tracking, and performance tracking
- Have advanced knowledge of excel and/or other data analysis tools
